PURCHASING in a great neighborhood, with well ranked schools and lots of community involvement is a good bet but there is a better strategy – PURCHASE homes around the great neighborhood If you're looking to purchase a property as an investment and take advantage of the weak market you want to ensure that your return will be maximized. Homes in that neighborhood with great SCHOOLS will regain their value. Once this happens people who want to live in that specific neighborhood will find themselves priced out of that market. Because they want to live in that neighborhood (the schools, family, PARKS, etc.) the natural thing to do is to look to the outlying areas of the neighborhood where the prices are slightly lower. Overtime as this trend continues, those homes immediately outside of that great neighborhood will start to feel the pricing effects of that neighborhood.
